So we bought our place and now we have to decorate it.
It’s how every 1st time home buyer feels. Exciting and scary all the same.
Daydreaming, money is no object and I imagined my perfect home. But we were just starting out and in reality had odds and ends, a vision and what was left after closing costs.
I must say – your home is your investment. Just Spend Wisely!
Thankfully we had some really nice hand me downs from the Art Deco Era. A classic look I can never tire from – so we went with it and gave it a modern punch.
I feel your home is your retreat. Make if your OWN. Paint the walls any color you please – that’s an easy change before sale. But when remodeling, do have a forward thinking plan. The idea is to bring value to your home with versatile baths and kitchens. When it comes time to sell it and move on – you can change the paint and stage it – but while it is your palace – relish it!
So we did, and painted a whole wall purple.
